Michel’s highest ATP ranking is 229. Last year he went to Argentina to play the Davis Cup for the Netherlands. 2008 has been one of his most successful years up to now winning three Futures, playing two quarter finals in the Challengers en winning the National Masters. This year’s big international events, qualifying for Roland Garros and Wimbledon did not work out as hoped but he has his hopes focused on the US Open now.

This will result in getting closer to his personal goal: reaching a below ATP 200 ranking by working very hard!

Streetsoccer – Panna | Scoring is not the ultimate goal or performance in the game of Panna. Beautiful actions, playing with the ball, intimidating your opponent with amazing ball-tricks, subtle moves that is what Panna is more about. “Panna” means “manhole” and in streetsoccer this means playing the ball through your opponents legs. When this happens, the game is over, you win!

Pannaproducties represents 4 of the best Panna players in the Netherlands: Ball virtuoso Nelson de Kok, Panna specialist Mo Boutaka, Freestyler Rik van Zon and King of the Ball Ruud Bos. All 4 boys have their own specialities but they all know how to play ball!!

Nelson and Ruud were both used as models for the FIFA-Street game (Playstation, X-box, Nintendo Ds). Together they travel around the world demonstrating their skills.

Dennis van der Geest | Dennis van der Geest (heavy weight class) is the first judoka who became Dutch Champion ten times in a row. Other successes were twice European Champion and World Champion in 2005. However, Dennis states he enjoyed winning the European title for the Dutch team the most and calls it the highlight of his career. Especially while he won every match by ippon! During the Olympics in Athens in 2004, Dennis won a bronze medal. Unfortunately the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 were less successful. Due to a injury to his arm he had to give up in the first round already.

Thanks to his great performances on the tatami and his appearances in tv-shows and commercials, Dennis became the best-known judoka in Holland. Just recently he decided to put his judo career to an end, after 15 years, and focus on his other passion: being a professional DJ...

Bryan van Dijk | Dutch judoka, Bryan van Dijk, has been the Dutch Sr. National Champion in his weight class since 2000. His decision to move up a weight class in 2005 turns out to be a very wise one. In 2006 he wins the Super World Cup in Hamburg and the World Cup in Rotterdam. 2007 starts up very well for Bryan, earning the necessary points for a Olympic qualification. Unfortunately a number of injuries follow and a operation to his shoulder in 2008 means the end of this Olympic dream. In spite of all efforts to be fit again for the WC in Rotterdam, (which took place last August), Bryan suffers again from a serious injury. Being the positive guy as he is, he won’t give up!

Guillaume Elmont | Dutch judoka, Guillaume Elmont, has been the Dutch Sr National Champion in his weight class since 2000. In 2005 he wins the World Championship, being the 3rd male Dutch judoka winning this World title besides Anton Geesink and Win Ruska. In 2006 he adds a bronze European medal to his “collection”. Finishing third on the WC in 2007 results in the nomination for the Olympics in Beijing in 2008. Although Guillaume is one of the favourites for a Olympic Title, he unfortunately looses the match for bronze. Last August, the WC was held in Rotterdam. Winning another World Title, in his own country, was of course his dream. However, Guillaume did not survive the first rounds.

Tim Coronel | Since the start of his racing career in 1994, Tim Coronel, has enjoyed various successes in different race classes both nationally as well as internationally. DTCC, European Alfa GTA Challenge or the BMW 130i Cup, Tim raced them all. In 2007 he decides it’s time for a new challenge, participating in the race of all races “The Dakar rally”. He joins the Dakarsport raceteam and makes it to the finish (which is an achievement on its own) ranking 46th place. In 2008, Tim was ready to race Dakar again, but on the eve of the start of the race the organization decided they could not guarantee the drivers’ safety due to hostile treats and cancelled the Dakar rally. This had never happened before! The decision was made to relocate the Rally of 2009 to Argentina and Chilli. Of course Tim appeared at the start together in a Bowler Nemesis (decorated with the Q logo and blockstripes). He and his co-driver and twin-brother, Tom Coronel, did an excellent job, finishing 70th!
